Willow Nilsen
Program Director, 2008

Willow is a New Hampshire native. Her passion for natural history, specifically, the ecosystems of Northern New England, suffuses Glen Brook’s programs with a solid foundation in the natural world and sustainable land stewardship. Willow holds a B.A. in environmental studies from Norwich University/Union Institute, Norwich, Vt. She is certified in Wilderness First Aid (WFA) and ropes course instruction. Willow is an avid rock climber, beekeeper, a self-described bird-nerd, a certified yoga instructor, and has received Waldorf training at Antioch University New England. She has a daughter, Sage, in the Monadnock Waldorf School in Keene, NH.  Says Willow, "My passion is building community through experiential education and environmental stewardship. It thrills me to watch someone discover physical and emotional resources that they never knew they had. At Glen Brook, these discoveries happen daily and I feel blessed to be a part of it."
